We wish to invite you to be one of the sponsors of our upcoming Uganda Martyrs Day Celebration event. The Archbishop of Johannesburg granted the Uganda Christian community in South Africa the permission to celebrate the feast of the Uganda Martyrs day in Johannesburg catholic archdiocese. This is an annual celebration that take place June.

 

This year, the event will be on Friday 16th June 2017 which is a public holiday in South Africa – the Youth Day.

The main Celebrant will be Rt. Rev. Paul Ssemogere from Uganda. He will be joined my many Ugandan priests residing here in South Africa.

The celebrations will be at Christ the King Cathedral; 186 Nugget Street, Johannesburg and it will start at 10:30 am.
 

Uganda Christian Community in South Africa would like you to help us with sponsorship in this church event.  Last year we expected few people to join our celebrations but we were amazed by the large number of people who turned up.  This year we are expecting a minimum of 500 people whom we have to provide for in terms of foods and beverages.

 

The plan is to raise enough funds to feed a minimum of 500 people who will attend the Mass and also buy a return ticket for the main Celebrant, Rt. Rev. Paul Ssemogere from Uganda. Your sponsorship will result in some advertisement space for you on the event banners and mailers.
