Fellow Ugandans and friends, The Archbishop of Johannesburg granted the Uganda Christian community in South Africa the permission to celebrate the feast of the Uganda Martyrs day in Johannesburg catholic archdiocese.

This is an annual celebrations do take place every year in June.

Join us on Friday 16th June 2017 as we celebrate The Uganda Martyrs Day in South Africa. This day will be a public holiday in South Africa since it is Youth Day; we are so blessed that we will be too celebrating our Martyrs Day.


The main Celebrant will be Rt Rev Paul Ssemogere from Uganda and he will be joined my many Ugandan priests residing in South Africa.

The celebrations will be at Christ the King Cathederal; 186 Nugget Street, Johannesburg. It will start at 10:30 am.


Dress code: Preferably Tradition
